Privacy Policy

ToneMusicVibe (tonemusicvibe.com) is an online music service. We process data needed for your account, listening, playlists, site operation, and security. We do not sell personal data or store bank card details — paid subscriptions are not offered on the site at this time. Google Analytics / Tag Manager load only after you consent in the cookie banner. To delete your account, email :email. By using the service, you agree to this policy.

1. General information

1.3. Operator / developer: the ToneMusicVibe project team (individual developer; a legal entity may be listed when publishing in app stores).

1.6. Registration, sign-in, listening to music, and submitting forms mean you have read this policy and agree to processing as described. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Data we collect

2.1. Account data

  • email address;
  • display name;
  • password (stored hashed);
  • when signing in with Google — Google ID, email, name, and avatar URL;
  • internal ID, email verification date.

2.2. Profile and settings

Interface language (Russian, English, Ukrainian); name and email you change in your profile.

2.3. Music data

  • track likes;
  • your playlists and their contents;
  • listening history on the site (track, duration, progress);
  • catalog search queries.

2.4. Technical data

  • IP address;
  • browser, OS, device type (User-Agent);
  • visitor session ID, referrer;
  • browser language and time zone (if sent).

2.5. Usage data

  • pages viewed;
  • player events (play, pause, progress);
  • sign-in and registration (method: email or Google);
  • ad impressions and clicks;
  • error records in server logs.

2.6. Site forms

  • Contact: name, email, message text;
  • DMCA: data you provide in a report.

2.7. Third-party services

  • Google — OAuth (sign-in), reCAPTCHA (registration), Analytics 4 / Tag Manager (after cookie consent);
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — registration protection (instead of reCAPTCHA when enabled);
  • mail service for outgoing email (e.g. Gmail SMTP).

2.8. Payments: the site does not offer paid subscriptions or card checkout. We do not store card numbers. Ads may link to third-party sites with their own policies.

3. Data we do not collect

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not store full bank card details.
  • We do not request microphone, camera, phone contacts, or device files.
  • We do not intentionally collect special categories of data unless you include them in a message.
  • We do not connect Spotify, Apple Music, etc. for sign-in — music comes from the ToneMusicVibe catalog.

4. Purposes of processing

  • registration, sign-in, account management;
  • playlists, likes, music playback;
  • listening and search metrics to improve the catalog and UI;
  • sync when signed in from different devices;
  • email (registration code, password reset, support replies);
  • spam and abuse protection (captcha, rate limits);
  • support, DMCA handling;
  • bug fixes;
  • internal analytics and, with consent, Google Analytics;
  • ads, legal compliance.

5. AI and recommendations

5.1. The site has no AI chat or “mood” feature that sends your text to third-party AI.

5.2. Home and section picks rely on the catalog, genres, listening popularity, and editorial collections — not training models on your messages.

5.3. Editors may use DeepL or Google Cloud Translation in the admin panel only for track descriptions — not your account data.

5.4. Please do not enter sensitive personal information in forms or search unless necessary.

6. Sharing with third parties

We share data only to run the service, not for sale:

  • hosting and site database;
  • email (SMTP, e.g. Gmail);
  • Google — OAuth, reCAPTCHA, Analytics / Tag Manager (after consent);
  • Cloudflare — Turnstile;
  • public authorities — only when required by law.

Google and Cloudflare receive only data covered by their terms when you use their button or widget.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies and browser local storage.

Essential

  • site session (sign-in, CSRF);
  • “remember me” when chosen;
  • interface language in session.

Your choice in the banner

  • tm_analytics_consent (granted / denied);
  • after “Allow” — Google Analytics / Tag Manager cookies (Consent Mode).

We also record views and listens on our servers for site operation — separate from Google marketing cookies.

To disable: “Decline” in the banner or browser settings. Sign-in may not work without essential cookies.

8. Retention

  • Account, playlists, likes — while the account is active.
  • Raw analytics — about 180 days; sign-in records — up to 365 days.
  • Technical logs — limited period.
  • After account deletion — deletion or anonymization within about 30 days unless law requires otherwise.

9. Your rights

  • request a copy of your data;
  • correct data (name, email, password — in profile);
  • delete your account;
  • withdraw analytics cookie consent (banner or delete cookie).

Requests: support.tonemusicvibe@gmail.com, subject “Personal data”, from your account email. We may ask you to verify ownership.

10. Account and data deletion

10.1. A “Delete account” button in profile may not be available.

10.2. Request: email support.tonemusicvibe@gmail.com from the address linked to your account.

10.3. We delete: profile, email, playlists, likes, Google link, history tied to user_id where possible.

10.4. We may keep: anonymized stats, legally required records (DMCA), backups until overwritten.

10.5. Processing time: usually up to 30 calendar days.

11. Security

  • restricted access to DB and admin panel;
  • HTTPS;
  • hashed passwords;
  • monitoring and form rate limits.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

If you suspect unauthorized access — change your password and email support.tonemusicvibe@gmail.com.

12. Children

ToneMusicVibe is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we received a child’s data without parental consent, we will delete it. For EU users where age 16 applies — the service is for users 16+ without parental consent.

13. International transfers

Data may be processed in other countries (including the US and EU) via hosting, Google, Cloudflare, and email. By using the site, you understand such processing.

14. Policy changes

Current version: https://tonemusicvibe.com/privacy with an updated date. For material changes we may notify via the site or email if you have an account.
