MALEEPA — Наяву
The wet city settled on my shoulders, Streetlights drift across my skin. I stay quiet, but in this light I look like myself again.
Evening runs down the glass, Everything that was has turned to smoke. You looked for me in passers-by — I walked by almost unseen.
Awake, I’m melting, melting, Awake, I don’t disappear. Till dawn along the edge, the edge, Awake, I come alive. Awake.
Warm air after the rain, A little salt on my lips. I was almost happy Even where it hurt.
Don’t ask me to stay, Don’t look for answers in me. I’m learning not to return To the places where summer fades.
Awake, I’m melting, melting, Awake, I don’t disappear. Till dawn along the edge, the edge, Awake, I come alive. Awake. Awake, awake, Till dawn, till dawn.
