Mihael Gudovskih — Не забирайте детей
He’s no saint, and life was no paradise. Anyone has mistakes enough. But why, when a family falls apart, must a father be deprived of his children?
She can’t calmly live with the fact that he managed to rise, not fall, that in a new home life became decent — and so malice boils in her soul. But the children remember hands and embraces and remember dad’s voice in the quiet. They don’t need anger or your oaths — they need a father, not in a dream.
Don’t take children away from fathers. Don’t turn love into a deadbolt. Children are not things, not revenge, not trophies. They need a dad among these days. Women, listen: you mustn’t break a child’s heart, punishing with offense. If dad has a new life — that’s no reason to tear childhood down.
Out of envy she shut the door and hides the truth in sharp, cruel words. But children feel it with the heart and believe who was with them not in arguments, but in deeds. They long to go to father even for an evening, just to hear: “Daughter, how are you?” You mustn’t cripple a childhood because the pain has not yet passed. Let things between adults be long complicated, let neither tenderness nor comfort return — but to take a father from a child’s life is wrong: someday they will understand.
Men cry at night too when they dream of a child’s quiet laugh. Don’t take revenge on exes through little children — on that grief there is no happiness for anyone [?].
Don’t take children away from fathers. Don’t put spite above the basics. Children love, children wait — and to those who love, they will come someday.
